A little bit About us.

Active Rider Training is a Driving Standards Agency approved motorcycle training body  

 Based in Tredegar, Gwent, South Wales. 

( Close to the A465 Heads of the Valleys road)

   Established since 2001 after many miles and years of Motorcycling experience. 

 

The business is owned by Chris Williams, A motorcycle rider with over 25 years experiance who is the Driving Standards Agency "Cardington" qualified instructor to Direct Access Grade, A Driving Standards Agency Enhanced rider  instructor who also holds a ROSPA Diploma in Advanced Motorcycle Instruction, the highest qualification available. We are also affiliated with the local IAM and RoSPA groups in the Gwent area.

So you can be assured the advice given is of the best available.

Our Aims

Our aims are to provide motorcycle training in the Gwent area,Giving our students a chance learn a "Skill for Life" in a safe, stuctued, cost effective manor.

Our Thoughts

 Some people may say that motorcycling is dangerous. And statisically it is !

However we think that if you receive the correct level of training and ride with responsibly and safety in mind then you are able to minimize the risks and motorcycling can be safe and fun activity.
